Poised at the starting gate, with less than two days to go the team from the Kiwi DX group preparing to activate ZM90DX is not exactly a sprint relay team.
In fact, given that this is a 13 month activation the level of excitement at the starting gate will be more like the warm up for a 10,000m walk. Possibly slower. This is amateur radio after all!
We do have a bit of a burble of excitement for some operators who have already arranged a sked to work G100RSGB on 80m CW on the first of October. Here's hoping the propagation is with them for that one.
In amongst or operators we've got everything covered from 160m through UHF and SHF EME operators.
There are CW specialists, digital fanatics , pileup hounds and good old fashioned rag chewers so I'm sure we'll manage to work anyone who wants to join us in celebrating 90 years of amazing DX radio contacts from the bottom of the planet.
Thanks to all the folks who have helped us get to this point and I hope to work you on the air.
Also, best wishes to the operators in the UK working GB2NZ which fits along side ZM90DX in celebrating some major milestones in modern communication made possible by enthusiastic and talented amateur radio operators.
